Linguaglossa | Mount Etna has returned to white after these days of volcanic activity.

Fresh snow, Etna returns white after days of ash

A white mantle has covered our “muntagna” so as to cover all this ash and lapilli that since February 16 have arrived throughout the Etnean territory.

Although very late, and at a time when Sicily finds itself in the Orange zone regarding national coronavirus restrictions, you can admire the volcano from afar.

Hopefully, the summit crater won’t take it upon itself to re-coat the snow with lapilli and turn it black again.
