Would you like to visit Mount Etna during an eruption? Always inform yourself before making an excursion on the volcano about the activity of the volcano. In this moment the maximum altitude where you can arrive is 2900 meters at Etna Nord and 2750 meters at Etna Sud. The summit is closed due to volcano activity. Above 2500 meters it is obligatory to be accompanied by a volcanological guide. Excursions that we recommend in this period are:
