The winetasting
Discover the magic of this wine tasting at Etna volcano! The adventure starts at the historic press (palmento), leads you through the enchanting vineyards and ends in the cosy tasting room. The duration of the tour varies depending on your interest and curiosity.

The tasting includes a selection of 3 different wines: red, rosé and white. And if you want to taste more, that’s no problem. Enjoyment is paramount!
In addition, enjoy delicious local delicacies, including 3 artisanal meats and cheeses, fresh fruit, olives, bruschettas and more. Vegan options are also available, at no extra cost, so everyone can enjoy this gourmet experience! (Please indicate this when making your request)

Availability
Wine tasting is possible all year round, but only by reservation. This means you need to book at least 1 day (but preferably more days) in advance. Full=full!
From Monday to Sunday, you can come and taste these genuine Sicilian Etna wines here between 10 am and 5.30 pm normally. Please indicate your preferred time in your request. There is a minimum of 2 people for the wine tasting.

The wine tasting will be held at a winery in Pedara. With the booking, we will send you the voucher with all the details, the address and a link to Google Maps.

The Etna wine tasting + vineyard tour costs € 45.00 per person. Young people aged 11 to 17 pay € 40.00 per person and can join the adults’ meal and receive fruit juice or a non-alcoholic cocktail based on grape juice. Adults who do want to do the wine tasting but do not drink, for example, can also participate for the same price and conditions as the teenagers, € 40.00 per person.
Young children up to 10 years pay €20.00 per child. They get fruit juice and a plate with mozzarella and local ham.

What to bring
The wine tasting and vineyard tour take place outdoors, as well as inside the historic palmento – a traditional stone wine press, depending on the season and weather. Inside the Palmento the temperature can be noticeably cooler, especially in spring or autumn.
We recommend wearing comfortable clothes. Even on warm days, it’s a good idea to bring a light sweater or jacket, especially if your visit is in the late afternoon – the palmento stays nice and cool inside.
And here’s a bonus tip: you might want to wear dark-colored clothing… just in case you spill a little wine while tasting.
Better safe – and stylish – than sorry!
There’s no dress code – just come relaxed and ready to enjoy the flavors of Etna.

Yes, the tasting is available by reservation only. We recommend booking at least 1 day in advance (better a few days in advance anyway!).
Duration is about 2 hours, but may vary depending on the interest of the group and the number of questions during the visit.
The tasting takes place even in case of rain, thanks to the facility's covered spaces. In case of extreme conditions we will contact you for a possible date change.

Restrictions
To ensure the safety, comfort and legal compliance of all participants, please note the following restrictions:
- Minimum age for wine tasting is 18 years (according to Italian law)
- Vineyard tour not suitable for people with mobility limitations – includes uneven ground and short walking distances
- If you plan to drive afterward, we recommend limiting wine consumption (tasting portions only)
- Pets are not allowed, unless agreed upon in advance
Alcohol is only served to guests aged 18 and above. Guests under 18 will receive a non-alcoholic alternative such as grape juice or a fruit-based mocktail.
The experience is not suitable for people with severe allergies to wine, grapes, sulfites or typical Sicilian ingredients such as nuts or dairy (please contact us for specific dietary concerns).
