The airport has its own train station just outside the terminal: Fontanarossa Airport Station. A free shuttle bus connects the terminal with the station every few minutes (the ride takes around 2 minutes). Or you can take a healty walk of about 15 minutes to get there. From Catania Airport you can go easily by train to:

• Taormina-Giardini (scenic route along the coast)

The train is comfortable and has air-conditioning. Often you can enjoy beautiful (coastal or Etna) views. The train is ideal for Taormina and Siracusa and also very easy if you travel with luggage.
